VIDI is an old and simple video digitiser for RISCOS machines. The original software delivered with the card supports a maximum output image of 640x256 at 8 bits per pixel (bpp). However the hardware is capable of generating images of 320x512 at 12bpp. This software generates images of that size and stores them in a file in Acorn deep sprite format.

Although not of high quality the images generated are comparable with a cheap webcam.

!NV requires the toolbox modules to function and uses about 1MB of memory.

It has been tested using RISCOS 3.1. but should work on other versions of RISCOS. However it is not known if the VIDI card will work with other versions of RISCOS. To encourage more people to try thier hand at programming I've released the source code as well. Its written in Acorn C v.5 and uses the toolbox. If you find the sw useful please EMail me - I'd like to know how many people are interested.
